Zine & Poster

DSC08189_edited.jpg

From this project, I was needed to design my Zine booklet that will open into a poster. The assignment should include an animal chosen by ourselves into the content, which is why I chose the TARSIER. I was intrigued by the bulging eyes and the small size of the primate (a human's fist).

I decided to make my Zine look like children's books where simple illustrations and fun doodles are given a chance to express on the plane. I decided that I would place my story during the night where a mixture of humour, fun and mystery will be added in the Zine to intrigue the viewer to read through the eight pages of the brochure.

After adding the words into the design, I found out that it matches well with the flow of the graphics as if it is a short children’s book with some Time Burton’s inspiration in drawing and collaging them together.

The poster comes up as an answer for continuous hints given in the zine. Adorable tarsier’s silhouette makes the poster look playful, and mystery revealed as if reaching the endpoint of a treasure hunting game.
